Dear Friends,

As I was celebrating New Year’s Eve last night with my family an incredibly warm feeling came over me because I couldn’t help reflecting on how amazing this year has been in terms of faithful readership from many of you, and how far this website and blog have come in just a year’s time!  Songwriteradvisor.com is a success as a result of much hard work, but mostly and more importantly, because of all of you, and I’m very grateful.  Though I’ll never be able to thank you enough, I’ll try by continuing to offer the best, informative, cutting-edge songwriting articles I possibly can.

To all my fellow musicians out there, whether you’re a beginner or advanced songwriter, I wish you the very best in the coming new year.  If you’re writing songs as a hobby, continue practicing your craft – you’ll be amazed at how good you can get after a while!  If you’re a pro or an aspiring pro, make a plan complete with short and long term goals, and go out there and get what’s yours!  Believe in yourself, don’t ever give up on your dreams, and don’t let anyone discourage you or prevent you from reaching your goals.

Beginning today, September 2, 2008, SongwriterAdvisor.com will be offering free article workshops to help you improve your songwriting. These articles will be posted as they become available and are intended to be a supplement to basic songwriting knowledge, and we’re confident it will benefit your songwriting tremendously.
